The new group of the famous violinist makes its debut in a series of concerts in the Old Academy.

They had their first concert in Budapest on 27 February, the next ones will be on 6 March, 17 April, 15 May. The quartet members are Gábor Homoki (second violin), Katalin Kokas (viola), Dóra Kokas (violoncello). In summer they will take part in two international competitions in Italy and Australia.

In an interview to Fidelio.hu Barnabás Kelemen said: "Already 15 years ago I knew I wanted to found a quartet. The quartet repertoire is richer than the solo repertoire so we can make tighter contact with famous musicians like Zoltán Kocsis, József Lendvay, Maxim Rysanov, Pekka Kuusisto, Nicolas Altstaedt and Joshua Bell."
