An exhibition of photographs by Hungary's Peter Gyukics about bridges spanning the Danube will open at Klosterneuburg Abbey near Vienna next Tuesday to mark Hungary's EU presidency, Marton Mehes, director of the Viennese cultural centre Collegium Hungaricum, told MTI on Saturday.

Gyukics was the first photographer in the world to take shots of all 342 bridges across the Danube from the Black Forest to the Black Sea. Of the rich collection, about 50 pictures have been selected for the display, complete with the technical data of the bridge concerned and the flag of the country where it is located, Mehes said.
