A selection from the china collections of Muzej Marton, Croatia's first private museum, will be displayed in the Museum of Applied Arts in Budapest, opening on June 16 as part of the cultural programmes of the Hungarian EU Presidency.

Some 130 neo-Classical and empire objects from the Vienna porcelain factory, as well as pieces from French and Russian manufactures, and early 19th century Czech and Russian glass will be displayed under the title Fragile Harmony, their owner, Veljko Marton, told MTI on Monday.

Muzej Marton was founded by Marton, a Croatian businessman and collector of Hungarian descent in Samobor outside Zagreb.
